The purpose of this page is to show my collage. It includes pictures that I created at one time or another that just figured would look good within a abstract collage. I took five images that I like and i added them with there name and writing at the bottom. I made a border for style also. Citations follow at the bottom.

In this assignment I had to create a cartoon with the stuff that I have learned in the chapter. Here it is! First the Gif Format then the PNG. First I made the borders with the Rectangle Tool. Then I made wheels then the guys body. Then I copied it and edited his face. Then made the girl saying hey and then copied the main guy on the bike again. I couldn't hide bis wheel so i decided to set him to the back layer and put a block of white over his tire. This made it so that i could have him off centered and make him go AHH! before he hit the wall. Simple and funny for some but I am not that funny so this was perfect. My screen shot is at the bottom of the page to show my layers.

The purpose of this assignment was to draw over a map that you select to practce drawing. I decided to a trip from the college to walmart. I didnt follow the mapquest map perfectly just because i wanted to make my own route but i stayed within the street lines. Here is the png and then the GIF.

This assignment was to get you familiar with using Tools. First I had to crop the outside of the image, then I had to add text, and then add two geometric shapes. This was good practice with the tools and I am looking forward to more! I Then had to export the image in the best way possible. Either JPEG or Gif. I decided to use JPEG today because it loads the image 2 seconds faster than if i were to use gif compression. GIF would have been 26.92k, loaded in 4 seconds at 56k. JPEG would have been 17.14k, loaded in 2 seconds at 56k.

The purpose of this project was to get accustomed to the manipulation of layers in Fireworks. I hope that I did this one right because it made the overall project look odd, but I did what it said. Hope you like my edit!
