My simple first one is for virutal flow. It just does a simple spin and i made the background in photoshop. It could use more background movement and maybe a more distinctive border but I like its simplicity. It is the one on the top of the page:

This is my rough draft PDF assignment. It took a while to do but was interesting reading the pages that I posted along with viewing new pieces of art, that I supplied within this. There is so much more that could be talked about but this is a good representation of web art and I hope you like it.

The first one is for assignment one, I just decided to make a stupid thing with a cat that says the cat is out of the bag, just because I wanted to use cats in some way and its a phrase that can be used in many ways. Below is the Assignment 3 Screenshot.

The second assignment is a light bulb add its simple but gets the point across. I made the lights flash and I originally had smiley faces in there too but it just seemed like it was too much. I think I would add more to the background if it was a real add for a site but for this I decided that it was a good start and I can use it as a mock up if I want. Below is the Assignment 3 Screenshot.

Century 22

The first project I did was the website for Century 22. I took decided that green went well with the background picture I chose so I added green with white to make a nice balance. I then decided to do the fonts mostly in script to make it look more professional. I know that you really are only supposed to use clear and concise fonts so for the navigation u made the second one in regular font. My logo is a house that says cent 22. I cited the image at the bottom of this page.

The first thing that I did was create the T- shirt I used the funny picture of a dog. I figured that it would be a great graphic logo. I then made the page, seen below with the dog as the main image with simple links on the top. I decided I wanted the logo to be the side so I did it that way. I made the text go downwards and I also then added a few more pictures including a horse and cute cats.

This is my graphic montage. It includes a beautiful beach that I added things like seagulls, sharks boats and a guy just waving. I wanted to show where I wanted to be, minus the shark but I thought it added a little bit to the image. Hope you like my image. Sources are at the bottom.

In the first exercise we were supposed to take a picture and color it. I picked This image because I always saw a little bit of playfulness as Stewie the baby portrayed does. I took the tiny image that I have had for years and modified it to be color and reflect the color of the "broccoli".

For exercise two I picked this image that I took a few years ago and decided to modify it to show that you do not know what is on the other side. I really saw this image as one that I could not decipher. I wanted to know what was in the mirror. I do not know what is in the mirror but I wanted to get an idea. I highlighted the lines after I sharpened the image. I also changed the background to make it more of a glow. I really cannot decipher what is there but thats what makes it interesting to me. It is a mystery that I find interesting. The only significance of the red border within the image is to highlight where the idea of the image is. I also did it to practice drawing.

The purpose of this page is to show my collage. It includes pictures that I created at one time or another that just figured would look good within a abstract collage. I took five images that I like and i added them with there name and writing at the bottom. I made a border for style also. Citations follow at the bottom.

In this assignment I had to create a cartoon with the stuff that I have learned in the chapter. Here it is! First the Gif Format then the PNG. First I made the borders with the Rectangle Tool. Then I made wheels then the guys body. Then I copied it and edited his face. Then made the girl saying hey and then copied the main guy on the bike again. I couldn't hide bis wheel so i decided to set him to the back layer and put a block of white over his tire. This made it so that i could have him off centered and make him go AHH! before he hit the wall. Simple and funny for some but I am not that funny so this was perfect. My screen shot is at the bottom of the page to show my layers.

The purpose of this assignment was to draw over a map that you select to practce drawing. I decided to a trip from the college to walmart. I didnt follow the mapquest map perfectly just because i wanted to make my own route but i stayed within the street lines. Here is the png and then the GIF.

Module 2 Assignment 3

This assignment was to get you familiar with using Tools. First I had to crop the outside of the image, then I had to add text, and then add two geometric shapes. This was good practice with the tools and I am looking forward to more! I Then had to export the image in the best way possible. Either JPEG or Gif. I decided to use JPEG today because it loads the image 2 seconds faster than if i were to use gif compression. GIF would have been 26.92k, loaded in 4 seconds at 56k. JPEG would have been 17.14k, loaded in 2 seconds at 56k.

The purpose of this project was to get accustomed to the manipulation of layers in Fireworks. I hope that I did this one right because it made the overall project look odd, but I did what it said. Hope you like my edit!
